    Hi,

I wouldn't complain. I've had moer problems with plug and play than you an imagine. About 20% of the time it seems to guess wrong.

I recenly installed a 56k modem for someone and plug and prey insisted that it was a 300 baud modem and installed it to work at 300 baud only. It took awhile to disable the modem, manually install the right driver, delete the 300 baud entry and then hack the registry so it would stop detecting it again even though the modem was working already with the mfr driver.

How many NICs and Video cards has windows guessed wrong leaving incomplete or no drivers? When I can I prefer to manually install devices although mfrs are making it harder to do so.

Now you know why it is commonly known as Plug and Pray...
