[RESOLVED] Windows Protection Error
I once got this messsage when I booted up my computer. "Windows Protection Error". Then my computer shut down automatically. After several tries it finally booted up in normal mode. What does this message mean?

If you have an AMD cpu 350mhz or faster, and are running windows 95, you should go to AMD's web page and get the windows patch. If I remember correctly, it replaces several VXD files that crash if a 350 or faster is in it. If thats not it you might try turning down the hardware acceleration for your video card..I have had several systems that have given me windows protection errors that continued until I disabled hardware accel for the video.
