[RESOLVED] Application uninstall on Win95
I am running Win95 on PII400. On bootup of Win I get an unsolicited Confirm File Deletion box asking if I want to completely remove the application to which I answer YES. I then receive the message - Unable to locate the installation log file ". Uninstallation will not continue - . I hit enter and the system finishes booting and operates ok. Any suggestions on removing this problem?
Thanks

Uninstall can't continue because some of the file(s) that were originally installed with the program are missing.
The best way I've found to fix this is to re-install the program to replace the missing file(s) then uninstall it

Check in the Windows folder. Look for wininit.ini. Open it and see what it's trying to delete. Also check your startup group to see in wininit.exe is there. If so, delete the shortcut..
