    Question Eradication of IE in Win98

    For various reasons, I'd prefer to completely remove Internet Explorer from my system.

    First, can this be done without Win98 going insane?

    Second, although I have set Netscape 4.7 to be my default browser, some apps still call IE. (Windows Update, McAfee VS, etc) What will happen to these calls?

    Third, what are the steps needed to completely remove this program from my computer?
