    Post DOS Error

Getting an "error code 8, exit 0" when trying to run a certain .exe file. Theres 128 RAM and a P3 550. Anyone ever encountered this or know a solution to it? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Sounds like an error specific to the program yer trying to run, not necessarily from the operating system.

If possible, I'd contact whoever made the program and see what they say. Also, most old DOS programs need to run on a FAT16 partition, not fat32 that windows uses.

You could try re fdisking and formatting the hard drive with one of the original dos disks or with a windows 95a boot disk.

    Hi,
    Do -
    Mem /c
and look on the TSR that you have
I would also run an AV Soft.

    Good Luck
