    Resolved [RESOLVED] Desktop.exe

    Hi guys !

    My NT 4 does does load desktop.exe thus NT screen with no icons. I can not get in any suggestions on how I can get my NT back ?

    Have you tried booting up with the set up floppies and selecting the "Repair" option?

    Can you boot into NT and get icons in VGA mode?

    I would have to agree with the post before this one,try the repair option or reinstall.

    what is desktop.exe ? explorer.exe is the gui shell..
