[RESOLVED] Setup skips steps!!!
What the hell!? I hate NT!
Ok, now that I got that out of the way. Here's my problem. When I try to install NT WS 4.0, the MS-DOS portion of setup skips the steps between the "finding mass storage devices" step and the "copying files to hard drive" step. How does this happen?

It depends how you start the install,
If you boot with a dos boot disk with cd support and then run the setup off the cd it does more stuff than if you just boot off the cd. If you boot off the cd you do not have to prepare your hard drive first either.
Also tell us which missing bits you need or what it is stopping you from doing and some one will be able to tell you a fix.

Thanks for the help, but I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was using FAT32 to partition my hard drive. I had to use FAT16. These should be one of those simple instructions that come with the NT Setup disk. Wouldn't you think? It's some pretty basic stuff!
