Access Denied message on a standalone NT Workstation.
I have a client who is getting an access denied message when try to open files on his standalone NT Workstation? Thank You for any ideas you may have. [email protected]
Maybe the system thinks that the file is already open somewhere else. Have you tried clearing out the temp folder?
Is it a file that has been shared? I know there is a problem trying to access files on a shared drive if you've already got a connection open to the drive from somewhere else... e.g. you have a mapped drive "h:" and want to make anoth map to a specific resource on same remote machine. NT won't let you have 2 connections open to the same machine, from the same place, using the same username.
