I hope this is a simple question!
How can I rename printers in Windows NT!

I'm dissapointed. That works in Win98 but not in WinNT.

I'm working on Win2k here..
I'll try to remeber it tomorrow at work and find a NT4 computer to check it on

Right click-->Rename, works fine on NT!!!
I checked it on a WinNT 4 Server-based machine!

I think you'll have a NetworkPrinter installed... that will surely show up as HP LaserJet xy on Server01 ... that can't be renamed, as it *is* the name of the printer.
If you want to have another printername then, you'll have to get a new printerqueue...
I really wanted this too at my site (i'm not responsible for the queues), but had no luck thus far... perhaps I can profit from further responses
