    Question Multiple I.E. Windows

    Hello Folks!
I have got a question for you: is there a way to avoid elorer to open multiple windows? I mean, when you are surfing the web it might happen that other undesired windows pop up (suc as ads or scripts). Can you avoid that from happening?
Thanks in advance for your help. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Do you leak any fluids, do you have any bumps on your rear, do you have any unpleasant odors?
If you answered yes to any of these then you are not qualified to own a new AMD ATHLON XP.
If someone ask you if you are running the all-new fastest AMD ATHLON XP, just turn around and reply "WHY YES, AND ITS CERTIFIED"

try pop-up stopper, you can download it from www.downloads.com

its free and does exactly what it says, you can still open a new window if you want manually but it stops any that auto pop up (like ads etc.)

If it's a web site you visit regularly, you can put it in the Restricted Sites zone, that will stop it from popping up ads.

I'm usually pretty quick, and just relexively kill any window that pops up, but I have visited the occasional site that opens dozens of windows, in which case the Windows 2000 Task Manager comes in REAL handy. Just right-click on iexplore.exe, and hit End Process Tree, and it'll gun every single window that was spawned by that process.
