Just make sure to get the latest version. Plus it does a pretty clean uninstall, but still leaves some reg keys behind.

    Thumbs up

Been using the lite version for a while now (Garak had suggested it) and I appreciate the absence of pop-ups and other malware.

kazaa, wont use them file swapping clients anymore, because of all the crap they put into my system while you install it.

Ill just do it the old fashion way, when it comes to wanting music or software.

Yes most of the P2P software clients need the dummy cd_clint.dll to stop the ads and such.....bit of a touchy subject on here though

Can you use both Kazaa and Kazaa Lite both on the same system or can you not have them both installed and use one or the other.

I'm probably gonna feel stupid, but if you have two identical programs, and one had ads and the other doesn't, why on earth would you want to install the one with ads????? (unless you are the type to memorize and sing TV commercials)

If you are looking for a way to have multiple users and each have their own shared folders, wouldn't it make more sense to install 2 copies of the lite version????

Has anyone out there heard of Kazza charging for their service? A friend of mine said she quit using it because everytime she went to download, it said that she had to subscribe @ $3.95/month.

I haven't heard anything about that. If they tried to start charging they would be shut down quicker than napster was. She was probably seeing one of the many pop up ads that come with Kazaa.
