180 proof grain or just plain old rubbing alcohol.

Vinegar is acidic, don't let it run down the screen into the monitor casing. If it gets on the circuit board it could set up corrosion & cause future problems.

    Thumbs up

As an added precaution, spray your cleaning cloth and not directly onto the monitor screen - especially if it's powered on.

I find that a wire brush will remove those tough stains. It also has the power to anti-alias your entire screen just like those fancyschmancy GeForce 3 cards without the expense!

Act now and as a bonus will work as a filter in Photoshop to soften the edges of those harsh digital images that you took with your aiptek pencam trio!
Note: To correct display problems, hold the "ALT"key and press"F4".

    Wink

Did everybody forget about good ol' Windex or Glass-Plus? That what we use. Plus, it cleans more than just glass...also does a good job on the outer case of the CRT, CPU, keyboards, printers, etc. Just don't spray it on powered-up units.
And, it will make your jewelry, rings, etc. nice and shiny...just like new.
    I'm good enough.
