Add/Remove programs will not remove program
Not sure if anyone can use this or not, but I found it the other day when a computer would give an error message while removing a program from add/remove programs.
Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Uninstall
There is the list of all the programs listed under add/remove programs.

Just a point, you can also use a program called more win properties (kinda like winhacker) to change the programs in the add remove list too.

these are good ways, but once i was bored and needed something to do, so i deleated the program files, reinstalled the program, then add/remove programs let me uninstall it

Add/Remove Pro is a nice, free tool for this, and pretty flexible. ZNet have it:
