Nice!! You may also try a toothbrush and some Comet to get at those hard to reach spots

(BTW, your GR8 PowerPoint Show is equally hilarious, Scuba!!!!)

I often take cards out of my PC while it on, just turn it off in device manager first and you can safely remove it (not only cards, it works with most hardware).

This only works in win2k or XP pro.

Hrm.. I tried to bypass the first step and just wash the card off while it was in the computer. I didn't bother to turn off the computer, again in an attempt to save time. Now my computer won't start!

    THANKS ALOT!

    Scuba,

I was considering selling my Raptor card, but after following your advice I encountered a few small problems.

Firstly I was hospitalised when I removed the card as per your instructions, however after a few hours of observations I was released.

Not having been put off by this small incident I gave the card a good soapy sponging to remove all that stubborn dirt. A small knobby looking thing fell off the card but I will assume that bit didn't matter anyway.

The drying process did cause a few problems. When the cycle was complete the card was in 2 pieces, but not to worry, I've put it back together with double sided sticky tape. All those wasted years watching Blue Peter have certainly paid off now.

All I need to do now is submit it to Ebay and wait for those offers to come flooding in. I will post a footnote with the ad stating how well the card has been cared for and that I followed your expert advice.

I would just like to thank you because I wouldn't have known where to start without your priceless advice.
