    Cool Low system resources!!!!!!!!

    Saw this in the system resourses of a computer today that had been running BCM diagnostisc s/w over the easter weekend.
    Ok so the system that the the diag s/w had been running on was a bookpc with a pc-chips m/b so it explains why the BCM had failed after a few hours of running.
    But its the lowest system resoures i've ever seen it said as follows under the performance tab in system propertise

    "System resoures: Very Low -6%"

    "System Resourses Low some programs may fail to run"

    Some of the progs may fail to run gee and there was me thinking at -6% resourses the system would run stable lol.

    A reboot would probably cure that. But, that's uncle Bill for us!

    Oh come on, -6%! Windows should FLY with that much resources available! Lord knows it's almost to fast to keep up with at 10%, which is what it usually boots up to in most configurations.

    Man, just now I was using the personal bar media player of IE6 and in no time did the resources drop to <u>zero</u>, I closed the offending browser window and the resources sprang back up to 74%

    Sorry i did forget to put that the os was win98 osr2.
    Yep when i did a system restart resourses went back up to 88%.
    Just shows that BCM diag and pc-chips do not make for a good combination, then a again is there a good combination of anything with a pc-chips component in it othere than a skip

    Easy way is the system control panel under the performance tab.

    Fastest way: MS(<font face="wingdings" size=+1>ÿ</font>)Key+Pause/Break key
    }
