Jetway mboard won't post @ 133fsb

Okay, heres an odd one.

Its a Jetway 933AN mboard with bios version N10 off of the Jetway website.

It has a Slot1 Intel 600eb (133fsb) processor on board BUT:
If the mboard is set to 4.5x100fsb the mboard posts and boots up fine.
If the mboard is set to 4.5x133fsb the motherboard fails to post, no beeps.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a 6x multiplier and a 100Mhz bus speed - are you sure the chip is meant to run on a 133Mhz bus?

The chip is definitely an Intel 600eb (133fsb).

Okay. I think its been sussed for the moment. Finally managed to download the manual which advised booting whilst holding down the 'insert' key until the screen came on - this resets the cpu/pci host clock to default - and it worked. Its kept going okay during the various restarts due to software upgrades etc, will just have to wait and see if it comes back up tomorrow morning.

Spoke too soon!!!!!!

This morning (after having been off overnight) the PC will not post at all, not even holding down insert. (and there is power going to the board.)

Any ideas? Lets just say jetway tech support is not exactly being quick with a response on this so any suggestions appreciated.

What chipset is on the board?

If it is an Intel 440BX then you will be trying to run the chipset out of specification at 133Mhz, and the PCI/AGP dividers will be set too high for most PCI/AGP cards to operate at. Board manufacturers used to include the 133Mhz option on the boards for testing purposes. If you haven't got a 1/4 PCI divider within the BIOS on the board and only 1/3 then this is the most possible cause.

Its a via chipset with jumper set fsb/multiplier and an option in the bios to set cpu/pci host clock to 133/33.

Is it one of those stupid boards with jumpers for fsb and Bios settings for the same? If there is just one jumper for either 100 or 133 try leaving that at 100 and set fsb inside bios.
