I created the spiny logo by downloading the Quake font and then using xara3d to creat an animated gif, I then extracted each frame using psp6 animator, and created a bmp file 38x1672, each frame must be 38x38, the first frame is followed by 3 blank frame this gives you your static picture, then just paste two copies of each frame into the rest of the space, in psp you can setup the overlay grid to 38x38, this helps with placing the frames, and finally I used IE personalizer to put the toolbar wallpaper on and the logo
your logo can also be 26x26
hope this helps, but as you'll see it doesn't change it in normal windows explorer???!!!
