Question Program to find shares on a network???

I am looking for a program (or a know way) that will find all of the shares that my users have created on their local computers. I would prefer if it worked in a passive manner put at this point anything would be great.

    Thanks

well most shares could be hidden so you wont beable to find them.

Sorry I dont know if there is a program like that, if you are not a administrator then you shouldnt try to find shares, or if you need a share then contact your admin. Searching for shares just to do it might get you fired from your job, since it is accessing another computer without there permission. (kinda like hacking)

I am the network admin!!! I appreciate what you are saying, and am glad to see not everyone lets out all of the secrets. I am not looking for the hidden shares but for the ones users have created because they are to lazy to copy data to the server. The problem I am having is broadcast storms on the network, and I have found that all of the worst broadcasters (except PDC, BDC and WINS servers) are computes that have more than the default shares. In fact one NT workstation with 6 folders shared gave off 10MB of broadcast traffic in one hour… Killed the shares… Killed the broadcast.

ok well being an admin, and trying to find the shares you should see all the shares, even if the user setup permissions to it. If the shares are on there machine and you cannot find them you need to login useing a administrator account to override there permissions. Now if its on a network machine then you should beable to see the hidden shares. (only if you have admin account loged in) Here at my work I have a standard account that I use that has admin privalges and is on every machine. So if theres a file or if I need to get into there machine to fix somthing remotely etc..

This program is a godsend!!! I can finally see what the IP's are of each machine at any time...since they are on DHCP.

    Thanks!
