    Talking Dual Monitors

I have come to a point in my job where I need two monitors, one for an access database and the other for CAD. My current system is a IBM P3, WIN NT, 256MB Ram and an ELSA Gloria II video card in the AGP. I dont think I can, but can I hook up a second monitor to the onboard video?? Or do I have to change my card to one that supports dual monitors?? THANKS!!!

Upgrade to Win 2K this should support Dual Monitor Just add 2nd PCI CArd to your AGP Card.Win 2000 Pro is better choice for OS that supports Dual Proc & Configs. Also will see 256 MB or more of Memory.
Runs great on CADD Config.Be sure to check your hardware for Compatability issues first!

The operating system I am using is WIN NT (Stated in original post) and if it was up to me I would be using Win2000, but I must work with what I am given.

if you've onboard AND a video card the answers no. usually a card will disable the onboard.... and then u have NT which i dont think supports dual anyway.

I've only seen NT4 support dual monitors with a single video card with two ports. NT4 doesn't support two separate video boards.
