    Post Internet Explorer 5.5 locks up

    The system can access AOL but when I attempt to access the web the system locks up HARD, the only thing to do is reset system. This has happened on two different systems, on one I upgraded to Win98SE and it solved the problem, this is not the case with the second system. Can anyone help? Thanks!

    which version of AOHELL are you using?

    Are you able to connect manually (by double clicking the DUN icon) and then use IE to browse?

    come back with some more info!

    I am using version 6.0. IE locks up even when using DUN. Thanks for the reply.

    go to http://www.98lite.net and download Ieradicate. Follow the directions carefully. THen Re-install IE it will work better and not dig its hooks as deep into windows.
