Resolved [RESOLVED] USB and Direct cable connection

I would like to use Direct cable connection between a Laptop and a Desktop. My question is, is it possible with a USB cable.
    Thanks

not that this is any help, but i know they sell network adapter kits for usb. in which case you could run peer to peer network between the two using a crossover cat5 cable.

I think it was logitech that had a USB direct connection thing. It setup a virtual network over the usb connector that would allow file sharing, etc. It had a little hub thing that connected the systems together. You couldn't stretch it very far though - seems to me it was like 10 or 12 feet between the systems.

Laplink for the Laptop to PC. And there are a few USB 10/100 Network Adapters.
    Milkstache, what's that ?
