    Good use... Linux print or fileserver.. Linux proxy server... Etc... etc... etc...

    I'm sure if you let kevin keegan know he will select it to play in defence or goal for the next England match as it has all the qualitys required for those jobs. IE: slow reactions no use when needed for important jobs and if placed on a football field would be no use at all.
    Would fit in just smashing with the current England squad.

    I would stick a PIII badge on the front of it and sell it to Bill Gates. Then he might consider making software which doesn't eat all your resourses as soon as you buy/upgrade a new computer.

    I usually prefer to throw old, crusty useless machines off of rooftops / bleachers. It's also kind of fun to Experiment with them, write small DOS programs. Most of the time 486 = Linux, or make a Netware server out of it.

    i agree w/ a good use being either a linux gateway/firewall/experimentation device.
    silly uses? do like the scots and use it as a caber(sp) toss? or keep in to chunk at the silly customers that p*ss you off. or door stop? or you can prnk people and put it in front of their door, ring their bell, let them open the door and trip--great for laughs. disassemble it and make art out of it? who knows

    Donate it to PCChips so they can replace their 8086/2400 baud web server

    Use it as Linux firewall - Run Thin Linux and boot it off a floppy
