Good way (not on LAN, and not using user profiles)
Remove and disable user profivles if enabled.
run sysedit and edit the system.in and remove all entrys in the Password list.
then delet all *.PWL files from c:\windows
the make windows networking think that it has never bee started and will enable the popup that states, PLZ enter a user name blaa blaa blaa. YOu may enter a pasword at theis point, if you do not enter one you will nto see this screen again. or something like that.
as to using IPX, NetBOUI and TCP/IP together, windows will by default use the first protocal found on the network. Usualy TCP/IP wins becasuse all systems with a modem have it installed for PPP(point to point protocal part of the TCP/IP suite required for Internet communications support) If you have no modems Net BOUI is the Fastest protocal for networks les than 10 (no server) windows NT uses Net BOUI for all of its internal comunications regardless of you installed proocals (its fast and has very low overhead) you only need IPX for net war connections, but generaly all 3 are a good combination with no ill affect on the system.
Windows (N): A 32 Bit patch to a 16 bit graphical interface based on a 8 bit operating system originaly encoded for a 4 bit processor writen by a 2 bit company that cant stand 1 bit of competition.
