I second protechpc's recommendation of DSL reports. I had all kinds of spotty performance with Infospeed DSL here in the Big Apple. I was able to resolve a number of issues including: frequent pauses of up to two minutes waiting for replies, the inability to redial the connection without rebooting and generally poor speed performance in comparison to my theoretical maximum. This site is a must for DSL users.
