[RESOLVED] EXPLORER, illegal operation
i have this come up when i am on the internet usually, one says explorer caused a general protection fault in module AVSNDSYS.DRV at 0006:00000ee3. another one is an illegal operation with reference to kernel32. recent i have installed win98 2nd ed, and have had a blue screen come up with fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:cooo5338 in vxd vmm (01) + 00004338. the current app with be terminated. i have checked the ram and run a diagnosistics on the hardware. thanks and there's a sweet for the person who comes up with the right answer

i have not over installed either i was a fresh installation and even re-partitioning the hdd

What anti virus did you install? Try UNinstalling and see if you get the error.

You've got a problem with your Asound soundcard driver.
Download and install the latest version for the Asound sound card and OS version you are running and you should be good to go.
