[RESOLVED] Sedgate Back up Exec

After restoring a back up to a new hd. the computer will hang at verifing dmi pool when the tape is in but if the tape is out it will boot fine i have reinstalled windows but with no progress with the problem . also does any one know who to do a scheduald back up with out haveing to use microsofts task schdular. thanks

hey man, Seagate Backup EXEC SW comes with its own scheduler.

seem that you may want to update the drives drivers and you should be ok.

This happened to me several months ago and there should be some updates for this seagate backup.
by the way , what OS are you running on the personal confuser?
