[RESOLVED] Previous occupation?
It seems like most people in the computer field had some other trade before they became techs. I was an A/C and appliance tech before I started doing computers. Sure beats climbing up on hot roofs and sticking your head in dirty ovens. What was your previous occupation?

I always worked as a tech, (except for while in college I worked nights at UPS), but I am getting out, going after my CDL and hitting the roads, I want a job that don't require a boss breathing down your neck, customer's bitching nonstop and most importantly, I want a job that requires very little brain power.

I worked at a STEEL PROCESSING WAREHOUSE..
Basically i used a hugh *** machine with 8 Flame Torches and 1 Plasma Torch.. I would sit there for 12 hours and cut steel sheets 10 foot x 40 foot into hundreds of parts.
That machine would ut steel up to 11 inches thick!
It was fun but i got tired of attending to people while waiting for the ambulance to come.. Very dangerous..
Now i have my workbench and my screwdriver and all the PC's i can fix!!

I actually went to college to get a degree in computer science. But I ran a wholesale food business and a grocery store before I got restarted into the puter business. I still run the wholesale business plus I now have my own puter shop. I guess one business just isn't aggravating enough.......grrrrrrrrrrr!!
