I was asked to install a Logitech Cordless Navigator (keyboard and mouse) for a client. He's running Windows 2000 Pro. Before going onsite I installed the keyboard and mouse on my own computer (also running Win2000 Pro) and both the keyboard and mouse worked - no problem. The keyboard works as soon as the receiver is plugged in but for the mouse to work I had to install the Logitech iTouch software and MouseWare software. After one reboot - presto everything worked ok.
On the client's computer, after installing the iTouch and MouseWare software and then rebooting it comes up with an error msg "iTouch - Error initialising keyboard driver". And then iTouch crashes with generating an error log etc. The keyboard is working ok, apart from the multimedia and internet buttons, but the mouse will not work at all - no mouse pointer.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling both iTouch and MouseWare, but still the same deal. The software supplied was iTouch version 1.5.
