Best proxy for Outlook Express
I´ve just installed Analog-X proxy utility, and almost everything worked fine, but can´t get Outlook Express to work.
It simply refuses to connect with the server, i´m I missing something?
Do you know a proxy utility that supports this feature?
PS: ICS sucks!!! (didn´t ya know? I´m telling ya...)

what the mail server adresses you are using? Are you just using mail or mail.isp-name.com? When you switch over from direct connect to the net to an internal network you need to make your mail server addresses their internet address of mail.isp-name.com. I think that is what your problem is.

Read the readme.txt provided with Analog X. It gives you the port numbers to use, along with what it can/can't do.

I would recommend Sygate. It isn't truly a proxy server but rather a software NAT solution which means you do not have to make ANY changes to the client software. You install it on one machine (the gateway) and then configure the network settings to use the gateway machines IP as gateway and DNS settings. I prefer this proggy to MS Proxy and Wingate.
