IBM and Maxtor HD's. SMC nic's. I like the SMC's because they work great and are inexpensive. I agree with aplustech about Win 2000. It has been great for me. The success of Win 2000 may be the doom of XP. At least I hope so.

I don't know if it qualifys as a product but, I love my DSL. I'll never go back to dial up.

NAI Sniffer Pro (DAMN but you can cause some serious mischief with it!)

TechRef and Pocket PCRef (I wore out my last copy of PCRef it was so useful!)

Windows 2000 (Best OS I've ever used)

Pocket PC (Only downside is their bulk, if they made them as small as the Palm V....)

I have to go against the grain here.... I see from this and the products you hate topic I'm in direct conflict with many of you.....

I HATE Maxtor hard drives but I LIKE Western Digital. One reason being warranty I've never had a problem getting one replaced by WD. " Is it under warranty?" ANS: Yes " Well send it in" And it doesn't matter where it was bought, who bought it or anything. Maxtor's Warranty is non-transferable, they want reciepts ( lets face it who really keeps them for three years and can still find them? ), etc, etc......

I also like Fujitsu HD... Have had great luck with them and have same warranty as WD.

    Other things I like

    Mitsumi wheel mice
    Mitsumi cdrom
    hp cdrw
    ISA modems
    AOC monitors

    Things I prefer...

    HP printers
    HP/mustek scanners
    older sb sound cards

I know, call me weird if you like.

    GLSmith
Don't hate me because I'm a US citizen!
