[RESOLVED] Arrange Icons

This is probably something overlooked and basic, but, I am constently adding and deleting itmes from my desktop, and every once and a while I right click, "arrange icons" and arrange "by name".
Ok, my problem is when I do this simple procedure, the icons are arranged in the reverse order than I am used to. Instead of "My Computer" being first in the upper left hand corner, "My Computer" is last on the second row. I use WinNT 4.0 with SP5 and this happened about 2 days ago. TIA.

When you right-click, you might try "Arrange by Type"...that's how I do it anyway.

I have tried all the ways you can arrange icons to no avail. The programs still work, but all the icons are in opposite order which gets kinda confusing. Any help is appreciated!

Have you tried Tweakui? You can download it for free. It has several utilities that repair icons, registry problems, etc. I just don't know if it's WinNT compatible.
