[RESOLVED] Mouse Pointer interferes with sight scope ??

When ever I play any 3D games such as Urban Ops or I'm Going In... My damn mouse shows up instead of the sight target and screws up everything...If this has ever happened to anyone else, you know what I'm talking about...
Win 98 Se
DirectX 8
Logitech Wheel Mouse
AMD 450 MHZ
198 MB RAM
WHQL Certified Voodoo 3 300MHZ AGP drivers
All games are using latest updates

I have even reformated ... to see if it goes away.. same problem
It has to be driver related to something.. but I don't know what because everything checks out fine..
I've troubleshooted but nothing works..

Any others experience this same problem and what did you do to resolve .. is so..

Do you have the logitech mouseware installed?
have you tried removing it.

I installed the mouseware software and the game_whl.exe...
Same problem.. no improvement.. I have a feeling .. Direct X 8 is the culprit.. Does anyone know how to remove Direct X 8 back to original.. that came with system .. ?
