Resolved [RESOLVED] kernel32.dll woes...this is unreal....

I just had a new system built for me:

    Athlon {T-Bird} 850
    256K Micron PC-133 RAM
    GTS GeForce 2 Ultra
    SB Live X-Gamer

Everytime I would try to browse the web with ANY browser I would get the old "Iexplore {or any browser} has cause a page default in KERNEL32.dll" thing. I tried everything I could find on the web. Reinstalling WE, changing browser settings, newest drivers, etc. No help at all. Reformatted and went back to Win 98SE thinking that the OS was to blame. Even setting MSN account up caused the fault and it was worse than on ME. My computer guru had me go in and disable the tweak feature on BIOS under chip set settings and change the RAM frequency to 100mHz and so far so good.

What is the deal with this kernel32.dll thing? Can you put this file somewhere else so that it causes less conflicts? If this is such a widespread problem why hasn't MS {or someone} figured out how to fix it?

    Any feedback appreciated. Thanks.

AW the solution is pretty simple - An application u have installed "fuc@#$d up" your files as it can't mess with Kernel32.dll (it's always in use).
