Opinion Needed
I am thinking of (and have start) purchasing the parts to build myself a dual processor system.
I have looked over a lot of parts, basicly this is what i have come up with...
dual Intel PIII-667Mhz
MSI MS-6321
4x256MB Micron PC133 ECC (non-registered)
Adaptec AAA-131U2 (ultra SCSI2 Raid controller)
CoolerMaster DP5-5G11 CPU Fan
3x 9.1gb IBM Ultrastar DCHS-09Y (will be in raid 5)
ATI Rage IIc (this will be a server - i may put something better in it if i decide to have this machine replace my GHz tbird)
will this make a good server?
i was thinking of using a tyan thunder LE (s2510) but it is too costly.
let me know what you think.
ps - any recommendations for a case? (a true server case - not just a full tower)

Ooh...I like it. How much did you end up paying for it and where?

Go with Rack Mount for server and DFI for MB.
I have several systems running WinNT Servers and Win 2000 Pro Server on Rack Mounted systems and they run cooler than cases.dual prosessors Intel or AMD with Super cooler Fans dual Video outputs two NIC Cards...
