IC Number Help

Hi everyone

Ive got a tough one Im trying to find out where a good web site is to find IC numbers ???

Ive got a specific chip off a motherboard with the IC number - IC74AS805

I dont know what mb its from either or indeed what type of IC it is

May be it's IC74ALS805 - 74ALS805* (20-pin Hex 2 Input NOR Driver).

74 series digital logic, as someone already

said; The middle codes (AS ALS, etc.) have

to do with gate speed and output drive

capability; Replace with same part to be safe

I was thinking the same thing...me lil book helps

kinda seperates the people that know the TTL stuff and those who have no clue eh?
