[RESOLVED] award bios v4.51pg

I have a intel 440 lx chipset running award 4.51pg bios. I am worried about year 2000 compatibility and was wondering whether a new version of the bios would ensure the system was brought up to date. My chipset is a i440lx-w977tf

The Award number (4.51PG) will do you no good if you want to update your system BIOS. You need to find out the manufacturer and model number of your motherboard, then go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest BIOS version. I doubt, however, that you will have any hardware-related Y2K problems - most P-II systems are new enough that Y2K problems are not an issue.
