I have to give my vote to Opera. I use most of the time and I'm very happy with it. It loads pages faster then IE and Netscape. They now have a free version. It has a banner, but it will not slow down your surfing. If you want the banner free version, you can pay about $35.

About Neoplanet, isn't just a new front end for Explorer? From what I read, it uses explorer properties and security. I seems like it's mostly a cool looking skin for IE. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

Haven't looked at it in awhile but Neoplanet used to requrire IE to run - was really just a skin with some eye candy and fluff thrown in for good measure.

Opera's latest is really a good browser - have used it a good bit and really nothing bad to say.

Older copies of most browsers can be found here:

It's worth a look just to see how many browsers there have been over the years. Plus, DOS and Windows version of LYNX!!!

Your dead right Archangel, but everyone knows the top three browsers are ie, netscape and opera. Neoplanet is easy for newbies and its freeware, there's nothing like choice.

I would have to vote for Opera , but here's another you might try ,doesn't have as may features but runs fine.
