Onboard audio driver for xp
My motherboard is elitegroup ecs k7asa, and I need a driver for my integrated sound card for windows xp. The only link I found was http://141.155.239.220/Bios-Drivers/Ecs%20Drivers/drivers/k7series/k7asa/8738xp.zip , but the file I download is damaged (I tried several times). Can you plz help me find where could I get a suitable driver for mu PC.

I found http://141.155.239.220/Bios-Drivers/Ecs%20Drivers/drivers/k7series/k7asa/k7asa.htm as well...
Also found this... but it doesn't list a win XP driver...

I'll try to download that first file and see if it comes in corrupt.

Apparently the header is missing from the file on the server. I can't find any contact info on this site.
Perhaps the best thing to do would be to contact the webmaster for ecs [ [email protected] ] and let him/her know that you found a file that you need on another site but it doesn't work and see if they'll put it up on their site.

dude, i've got a driver disc for that board somewhere, i'll email a copy of the drivers (if the xp driver is on there)...

That would be great, Garak, but even if you won't find the driver for xp I'll be thankfull for trying.

I have a problem with sound card which is onboard. when i try to run media payer its saying "no audio hardware found". pls help me.

Exactly what motherboard or sound card have you got? If you don't know, download everest (from my signature) and run it, post what it says about the motherboard and sound.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
