Need Help w/ Windows ME error
I have a customer who moved about 100 miles away from our shop, and called this morning after attpempting to re-install ME herself. It finished the first part, then rebooted and asked for the registration #. After she entered it, it gave the following error:
SU0350:
Setup cannot verify the windows license agreement. Windows cannot continue setup without this agreement.
She hits ok, and the machine shuts off. I know with 98SE there was an issue similar to this with the license.txt file, but I cannot find anything on this error for ME. I have looked over the knowledge base and also found nothing.
Anybody come across this before???
Thanks!

Can't say that I have.
Stupid question, but I have to ask. She did enter the correct registration #, right? If so, it’s a long shot, but how about calling Microsoft directly?

She has the OEM sticker on the back of her case and I had her verify it several times.

I red that article already, but I don't know if it will help, it's not the exact error message she is receiving.
Also, she cannot get into Windows ME, so I'm hoping she has a boot disk laying around!!

Like I said, it was a stupid question.
