    Post video editing

    i have a 30 min long avi video.

    how cut a section out and have it as its own file.

    such as to crop out the first 3 min and save it by itself

    the video is divx and the audio is pcm

    adobe is 75 megs, ill be waiting for days!!

    on the vcdhelp site there is no section named: video editing, can you please tell me where it is.

    use this program called virtual dub.
    <a href="http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/virtualdub.html" target="_blank">virtual dub</a>you can cut, edit, encode avi's , just make sure u have proper codecs

    Nice link GameGuru! I'm going to have to play with some of those programs. It would be nice to be able to join and cut media files. And for the program to be free....nice!

    I second myramp. Virtualdub is very easy to use and FREE.
