Post undo changes by chkdsk in win2000

i used chkdsk to correct a corrupt hardisk and it modified the system volume but i lost all the directry structured which i could see before but not access but after using chkdisk i cant even see the directry structure any more. i am using win2000 in a dual boot environment with the harddisk partitioned into 3 primary partitions.

1 for win2000(ntfs)
1 for winme(fat32)
and 1 for my personal files. (fat32)

the hardisk having problems is that of my personal files.

pls, is there any way of reversing the action perfomed by chksdsk so as to recover my files.

Not sure about reversing, but there are utilities such as Restore200Pro that can recover data from problems such as this. The demo can be downloaded here http://www.b******.net/r2kf.htm and it will show you the directories it can recover. I recently deleted my ntfs partitions, and i recovered everything. At 50$ it's also one of the least expensive of its genre....
