[RESOLVED] Memory Bank
I have broken one of my memory banks on the motherboard. I need to kow how I can place a memory chip in it to stay. I have been told to buy a bank for it but I am not sure if that will workk and also have no idea on where to purchase one.
The sides of the bank are brooken off.
Please advise me on some support.

Looks like it's time to break out the Super Glue. If you are careful, and patient, you can sometimes glue these things back together. #1 make sure that the surfaces are CLEAN!! Let it cure for a couple of hrs, and mix up some good epoxy, build up around the joints with it, and let it cure. Be very slow and careful when installing the SIMM.
If you happen to have a scrap MB and a desoldering tool, you could swap out the banks. As for buying one, you probably can't.Good luck.

Untrue, you can purchase a new bank at most electronic specialty stores.
