Stack over-flow
Gentlemen,
Customer on boot-up receiving "windows terminating thread,stack over-flow problem,possible Vxd recently installed,to much stack space used,increase min stack space".He's running 98se, P-233 CPU.What should I do,and, yes its a compaq.Piece of crap!

I'm not a gentleman, but I'll give it a try.
To resolve the error, add the following line to the [386Enh] section of the System.ini file: MinSPs=4
If the problem persists, increase this number in multiples of 4 until the error disappears. The error is caused by an overflow of the stacks used by Windows 32-bit device drivers. It's not related to the stacks=line you may find in Config.sys.
