Can I use CD-R disc with Direct CD ??
I tried to use a CD-R disc with Direct CD in HP8200i and Iomega ZipCD650. But none of the CD-R disc work. Both disc got the unrecognize error from the Direct CD. I try to drag some file from window explorer to the CDR I got the writeprotect and access denie error. But it work if I use a CD-RW disc instead. I went through the menu of Direct CD it says CD-R should work with Direct CD. The Disc which I use is memorex.
Does anybody got the same problem before ?
Any comments and advise is appreciated.

Hello,
CD-R's are for copying program cd's or making music cd's only (They can only be written once); if you need to drag and drop files like you do in windows explorer, you need to format a cd-rw with the directcd driver.
I hope this helps.
