    Post msgsrv32 stops responding on modem ring?

    modem (creative dsi) is connected to phoneline. when the phone rings, msgsrv32 stops responding. win98se,sblive 5.1, pIII 800. causes cdrom and cdrw to become not ready. actually unlocked a udf formatted cdrw disk. weird. any idears team?

    Is the modem sharing an irq with anything?

    And what OS are we talking about?
    Never approach a computer saying or even thinking to yourself "I'll just do this quickly...."
