What is your connection? Cable? DSL?
DSL rocks over cable all day!!! 2.8 Mbps straight to the desktop. It will be ever more once I get the cap removed.

I just moved, and in the interim period when I didn't have cable modem, I used MSN. Does it ever suck ducks. 56K is bad enough, but msn is just unusable.

I think the problem is either an ID10T or PEBCAK error

Hello,
While high speed access is great....until they drop the prices in my area and make it so it is as flexible as an analog modem is to a travelling PC user...I will stick to my 56k(though I max out at 33.6) connection..

I had cable modem until a few months ago I moved into a new apartment. Its more expensive so I thought I would just use a 10 dollar a month dial up to save money. Boy was that like suicide. I called the cable company and told them to come out TODAY to get me hooked up.

yeah burnfest that is. You can always set the buffer time for longer periods to.
I am forced to do that with my dial up.
