[RESOLVED] com ports

I had a tech for a company called Q-Quest (ETC Systems), which makes a hardware timeclock w/software interface, tell me that the com1 connection to a ISDN modem was interfearing with the com3 connection to the time clock eventhough the IRQ's and I/O add's are different for all com ports.(NO Hardware Conflicts) This sounds like BS but I am unsure if this is correct. Any info on Serial Ports that might clear this up in my head will be welcome.

Com1 and Com3 use the same IRQ, IRQ 4 try moving one of them to com 2 or com 4 which use IRQ 3
