Looks OK for the price.
One thing to bare in mind, is that generally you get what you pay for. Check the length of warranty, and see what their customer service is like.
Dont want to be shelling out more money after arguing about a warrenty claim, if something does go wrong.

Overall Its a nice system (with a very nice price tag.)
I tend to dislike 7200RPM disk drive (overheating and many other problems) - Though Maxtor Drives are highly reliable.
Also I would go on a better Mainboard (MSI are good choice to price Vs. benefit).
Good Luck

Don't forget to factor in the OS, a monitor and a keyboard...other than that, not bad. Should be pretty peppy.

Not bad.Especially the price.
But what exactly the PSU model?
Beware, sometimes it's needed to update BIOS of that motherboard in order to get it worked with latest CPUs (motherboards might be coming with isn't fresh enough BIOS).

Dunno if I'd do much gaming on it, but looks purty good for general business/entertainment stuff or for a relative or friend on a budget.

where are you getting your stuff from? if you're ordering off the net, i would consider odering the Shuttle AK31A mb instead of the ECS mb. its $59 bucks at Newegg
take care and tempt not the fates

I know its personal preference, but I wouldn't touch that shuttle board with a rented 10ft pole.
(No offence intended)
1. it has no onboard nic (add on another $10 for a nic).
2. it has a via chipset. In my experience via is ok, as long as you enjoy updating the chipset drivers once every few months and don't want to be able to reliably use usb devices.
About the only thing I would change on that is the video card. ECS may have decent mobo's, but I have never heard a good thing about their video cards. Look for something with either an ATI chipset or a nvidia chipset on it. It will probably cost $15-$20 more, but the lack of issues will more than make up for the price difference.
