no 2.2v core jumper setting on my board for amdk6-2 300?
I have a p5sj-a board by ecs ( www.ecs.com.tw). their board specs show the jumpers starting at 2.54v for the core voltage. the I/O voltage is 3.3 which is not a problem. multiplier lists a 4.5 so i know the board can handle a 300mhz. how to set the core voltage to 2.2v?

Thanx for the tip on the fan. seriously though, there has to be a setting for it...
the board specs specifically state that it is cyrix, amd k5 and k6, and intel pentium compatible... a little help.....
thanx team!

yes the board supports the k6 but not the k6-2, it is an older board. Every board I have seen on the net that uses that SiS chipset does not support the K6-2 or that voltage or processor speed. The K6-2 except for a few is 100Mhz Front Side Bus which is not supported by that board. I'm sorry but you need a different board, maybe an Asus P5A, FIC PA-2013, MSI-MS5169. They are all under 100 bucks and are full-ATX.

If you use the P5a Flash the Bios the new ones come out with a stupid Beta Bios (at least the ones I worked on the past two months) I love Asus but problem no ATA 66 the Gigabyte Super 7 does have ATA 66 and is cheaper too.

I love ABIT boards, though I don't do AMD and can't speak for how well ABIT supports those.
