    Question Memory Manager

    Do I need to use memory manager to speed up my applications. I'm using a win98se.

    How much memory are you running try adding more memory, memory managers are not the awnser, upgrade your memory and CPU to obtain a faster system

    Memory manager? First thing you should do is check your system resources and know your limits. Never try to open more than your system can easily handle. You should stop all programs(other than anti-virus) from running on startup. If you are comfortable with regedit you can easily get your system running at peak. Add more memory as your needs grow. With the price of memory today you should have no problem getting all you need for next to nothing. Since you are using 98SE I would also consider moving on to Win2k(not ME which will make your system slower...).

    Just buy more memory it's cheap. Memory managers were agood alternative years ago when mem prices were too damn high. Adding more memory will give you much better performance than any software.

    Do not try to use a memory manager - like was said - buy more memory, or map it yourself.
